Description : RAFOXANIDE is an anthelmintic used for the treatment and control of liver fluke in sheep and cattle. Our product conforms to British Pharmacopoeia (Veterinary) 1985.

a) Appearance: A greyish white to brown powder
b) Identification :
i) Infra-red absorption spectrum : Concordant with the reference spectrum of Rafoxanide
ii) Light absorption of a 0.004% : Absorbance at 280 nm, about 0.97 and at (w/v) solution in 0.1M
335 nm, about 0.59 melthanolic hydrochloric acid
c) Melting point : About 175°C
d) Related substances (by TLC method as per Amendment No.1, B. Vet. C., (1985) : passes
