The product conforms to IS : 12003 (1987)
a) Appearance : Light brown viscous material
b) Fenvalerate content by GLC : 90% (w/w) minimum
c) Acidity Limit (as H2SO4) : 1.0%, (w/w) maximum
d) Material insoluble in acetone : 0.5 % (w/w) maximum
e) Meta phenoxy benzaldehyde : 2.0% (w/w) maximum

Formulations : Emulsifiable concentrate 20%w/w and Dusting powder 0.4%
Compatibility : Compatible with most insecticides and fungicides etc.
Toxicity :
a) Mammalian toxicity : WHO classifiation : Class II “moderately hazardous”.
b) Environmental toxicity : It has low toxicity to birds, aquatic algae and molluscs. Even though Fenvalerate is reported to be extremely toxic to fish, daphnia, bees in laboratory tests, under field conditions the same is not seen.
Shelf-life : Two years under normal storage conditions.
